1.
Little girl cries
As parents fight loud -
Insignificant pain.

2.
Cluttering bangles
On soft dainty arms -
Uncharted symphony.

3.
Poignant rants
For once he lay
Deaf to her pain.

P.S : I haven't focussed on the prompt per se, rather wrote sets of haiku inspired by the theme. I hope that is allowed. Thank you all for the comments :)
Its beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Rupertt :)
DeleteExquisitely written! I love the tenderness of the second one. The other two made me a bit sad. But that is the power of your composition :)

ReplyDeleteWonderful set Maliny!! The pain and ache in the first and last Haiku are deafening... The bangle symphony is musical:)
ReplyDeleteWOW. I love the way haiku work. The pain is so evident here and the images they create - each one of them - is vivid. Thank you for the beautiful set, Maliny. :)
